On the occasion of New Year in the European country of Montenegro, a man opened fire in a bar and killed 10 people, including members of his own family. Apart from the family, the bar owner and his two children are also among those killed. Four people have also been injured.
The accused attacker has been identified as 45-year-old Ako Martinovic, who fled from the spot after the attack. The police had closed all the roads in the area to catch him.

Prime Minister declared national mourning
Following the attack, the government has declared three days of national mourning from Thursday. Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic called the shooting a terrible tragedy. The condition of those injured in the attack also remains critical.
According to police officials, the attacker Martinovic had a criminal record. He was also sentenced for possessing illegal weapons, against which he had also appealed in the court.
