1000 km will run on charge once
Varanasi: The trend of electric vehicle is increasing in the country. Scientists are also doing new richrs about this. BHU scientists have also prepared a new battery regarding e -vehicle, which will bring a new revolution in the field of electric vehicle. By charging this battery, you will be able to cover a long distance. At present, it has also been successful on two wheelers in BHU.
Soon the temperature sodium ion battery will be used instead of lithium battery in electric vehicles. Which will travel from one thousand to kilometer once charged. It has been prepared by BHU’s physics professor Rajendra Kumar Singh and Resex students involved in his team.
Trial on bicycle currently
Professor Rajendra Kumar Singh said that this battery has been put in a bicycle for the trial. In which after full charge, this electric bicycle is giving average average of thousand kilometers. Let us tell you that the researchers have taken the help of sulfur found in industrial waste to prepare it, which is many times more powerful than the lithium battery.
Research will be completed in 2 years
Professor Rajendra said that it will take 2 years to complete this research. For which an MoU has been done from the Central Power of Research Institute, Bangalore, a company of the Ministry of Energy. After the completion of research, this battery will be produced in bulk, which will bring a new revolution in the field of electric vehicles.
