IND vs AUS 4th Test Melbourne: Team India scored 164 runs with the loss of 5 wickets at the end of the second day’s play in the first innings of the Melbourne Test. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a strong inning of 82 runs for India. Whereas Virat Kohli contributed 36 runs. There was a century partnership between Kohli and Yashasvi. But as soon as he was out, the course of the match changed in just 30 minutes. India lost 3 wickets very quickly.
Kohli and Yashasvi were partnering for the third wicket of Team India. Both of them made a partnership of 102 runs. Yashasvi was out. Yashasvi faced 118 balls and scored 82 runs. During this, he hit 11 fours and 1 six. After Yashasvi was out, Virat also left. Kohli was out after scoring 36 runs. He faced 86 balls and hit 4 fours.
How India lost 3 wickets in 30 minutes –
Team India’s wicket fell in the form of Yashasvi on the second day. After Yashasvi, Kohli was out and after this Akash Deep also walked out. Akash Deep came to bat at number five. But he could not even open an account. He was dismissed by Boland. The last 30 minutes of the second day proved to be quite fatal for Team India. Earlier, Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 3 runs. Whereas KL Rahul was gone after scoring 24 runs.

Australia scored 474 runs till all out in the first innings. During this, Steve Smith batted strongly. He scored a century. Smith played an inning of 140 runs. Labuschagne scored 72 runs. Usman Khawaja was out after scoring 57 runs. Sam Kontas was out after scoring 60 runs. While bowling lethally for India, Jasprit Bumrah took 4 wickets. Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets. Akash Deep took 2 wickets and Washington Sundar took 1 wicket.
