Ravichandran ashwin reaction on Ben Duckett Statement: Before the Champions Trophy 2025, Team India played their last ODI series against England. On the land of India, both teams were face to face for the 3-match ODI series. In the series, Team India cleaned England 3–0. Former Team India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin expressed disappointment over this poor performance of the English team. Apart from this, Ashwin also reacted to England opener batsman Ben Docket’s statement in the Champions Trophy.
Talking about his Hindi YouTube channel ‘Ash Ki Baat’, Ashwin said, “It was disappointing and tragic to see such a talented team of England doing this kind of performance.” Apart from this, Ashwin expressed confidence that the English team will return to the Champions Trophy. Ashwin said, “It is not that he has no ability. I am putting my point in front and will again say that it is England’s top level team, but he took this ODI series very lightly against India.”
Ashwin’s reaction to Ben Docket’s statement
After losing the second match of the ODI series, England’s Ben Docket said, “If we lose 3–0 against India, I will not mind as long as we beat him in the Champions Trophy final.”
Reacting to this statement of Docket, Ashwin said, “It does not matter what Ben Docket said, but the defeat of this series will put a big dent in his confidence.”
England played ODI series without practice
Former England captain Kevin Pietersen had told after the series was over that the team played the ODI series against India without practice. Peterson had said that after losing the T20 series and the first ODI, the practice session was not organized by the England team. Pietersen appeared disappointed with this act of England.
