Action is being taken to acquire private land in the surrounding area to allot additional 145 acres of land to the Airport Authority of India for the proposed development and expansion of Udaipur Airport.

Mavli SDM Ramesh Seervi said that a two-day public hearing will be organized from December 19 for the stakeholders/account holders of the affected area.
He said that the Bilanam and Khatedari land of revenue village Dabok, Ghanoli of Mavli Tehsil of Mavli Tehsil, revenue village Tus Dangian, Rawatpura, Tus and Mandesar of Vallabhnagar Tehsil and additional 145 acres of land will be handed over to the Airport Authority of India for the development and expansion of Udaipur Airport in public interest. 126.1010 acres of private land included in this land is being acquired for allotment.
He informed that as per the Right to Fair Redressal and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, the hearing is being organized for land acquisition under social impact effect.
On December 19, a public hearing will be held at Gram Panchayat Dabok from 3 pm onwards, in which the affected stakeholders/account holders of village Dabok and Ghanoli will be able to participate, whereas on Friday, December 20, from 3 pm onwards, affected stakeholders of Tus Dangian, Rawatpura, Tus, Mandesar will be held at Gram Panchayat Tus Dangian. / Account holders will be included.
