Abhishek bnerjee: Abhishek Banerjee, an MP from Trinamool Congress and National General Secretary of the party, on Thursday, dismissed the reports of the alleged “differences” with party chief Mamata Banerjee, saying that he will continue to remain a “loyal soldier” of the party and considers the party supremo as his leader. Addressing senior party workers and leaders at the organizational meeting of the Trinamool Congress at Netaji Indore Stadium here, Abhishek claimed that whenever the election comes close, the opposition resorts to spreading such “rumors”. The purpose of the meeting was to formulate a strategy for the 2026 assembly elections in the state.
Abhishek said, “Those who are saying that I am joining BJP, let me tell you that even if my head is also done, I will only raise the slogan of ‘Mamata Banerjee Zindabad’.” This statement of Abhishek is considered important in the case that recently he has been missing from the leading role in the organizational activities of Trinamool and his attention is mainly on social welfare. That too has been limited to his constituency Diamond Harbor. The MP said, “I know those who are spreading such false news. He has vested interests before next year’s assembly elections. ”
Mukul Roy and Shubhendu Adhikari Name
Taking the names of Mukul Roy and Shubhendu Adhikari, Abhishek said that he had identified him as “traitors” before the earlier election. The MP from Diamond Harbor said, “I had exposed him earlier. Whoever is trying to create unrest within our party, I will once again expose them. ”Emphasizing the need to follow discipline in the party, Abhishek warned the Trinamool Congress leaders to be careful about their statements in the public sector. He said, “If you think that you are an MP or MLA or ‘Block’ president and you are allowed to say things in public which degrade the party and weakens its situation, then you are wrong. Those who do so have already been identified. Everyone of us is directed by the rules of the organization. There should be no laxity in your work before the state elections. ”
Party members request to focus on public service
While urging the party members to focus on public service rather than internal conflicts, Banerjee said, “Forget your differences and focus on working for people.” There is no point in joining the conspiracy. People involved in WhatsApp group politics should know that such efforts will be wasted. It will have an impact on the conspiracy only.
Abhishek, who was considered a second leader in the party, citing the new charge sheet of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the investigation of the teacher recruitment scam, accused the agency of “working at the behest of his political masters”. Abhishek claimed, “I am surprised to see that the CBI is so scared that it is indirectly raising finger on me.” This is because they do not have evidence worthy of action against me. I said this five years ago and I would again say that if you can present a single proof that connects me with any kind of corruption, then you do not need to write the charge sheet. Just prove them in court and prepare the hanging noose. I will happily hang on the noose. ”
