
Team India Contract Update: The Board of Control for Cricket in India may soon release the list of Central Contract related to the players of Team India. This time the board will make many changes in the contract. Team India’s legendary players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma may suffer losses. Ravindra Jadeja is also included in this list. These three players are currently included in the A Plus grade. But now their grade can be changed to A.
Actually Rohit, Kohli and Jadeja retired from this format after the T20 World Cup 2024. According to the board rules, the players are kept in A Plus grade, who play ODI, Test and T20 formats. But Rohit, Jadeja and Kohli have said goodbye to T20. Therefore, their grade can be changed. They will suffer from this.
Kohli, Rohit and Jadeja may suffer financial loss –
BCCI gives salary according to grade. In such a situation, Rohit, Kohli and Jadeja may suffer losses in salary. These three players may lose at least 2 crore rupees. BCCI gives 7 crore rupees annually to A Plus grade players. Whereas grade A gives 5 crore rupees annually to players.
There are only four players in A Plus grade –
The current contract of BCCI has only four players in A Plus grade. Jaspreet Bumrah is involved in this with Rohit, Virat and Jadeja. If we talk about grade A, then it currently consists of six players. Mohammed Shami, Mohammad Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya and Ravichandran are part of the Ashwin list. Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Akshar Patel and Suryakumar Yadav are part of Grade B.
