- Adani Energy Solutions Wins ₹ 2,800 Crore Transmission Project in Gujarat, Share Price Jumps Over 3%

The stock of Adani Energy Solutions is seeing a rise of nearly 3% today (March 21). The company has announced a power transmission project of ₹ 2,800 crore in Gujarat on Friday. This news is seeing this boom in the company’s shares.
The company is trading at Rs 835.80 with a gain of 2.54% to Rs 835.80. In the last 5 days, the company’s stock has climbed more than 6%. The company’s stock has climbed around 25% in a month. In the last six months, the stock has fallen 18.53% and 17.16% in a year. The company’s market cap is Rs 1 lakh crore.
The project will be completed in 36 months
Adani Energy Solutions reported that it has found a power transmission project in Gujarat, which will supply green electrons for manufacturing green hydrogen and green ammonia in Mundra. The project costing Rs 2,800 crore will be delivered to the country in 36 months.
Two big transformers will also be added to the project
The project also includes upgrading the new (Mundra) Electrical Substation by adding two large 765/400kV transformers. Apart from this, a 75 km long 765kV double-circuit line will be made to connect this substation to Bhuj substation. Adani Energy Solutions has given this information in regulatory filing on 21 March.
The project will connect 150 ckm transmission lines and 3,000 MVA transformation capacity to AESL’s overall transmission infrastructure, which will make their capacity 25,928 ckm and 87,186 MVA.
The company’s orderbook in this financial year increased to ₹ 57,561 crore
Adani Energy Solutions had won the project under tariff based competitive bidding (TBCB) mechanism, with PFC Consulting Limited Bid Process Coordinator. Project SPV was transferred to AESL on 20 March 2025. This is the sixth order of Adani Energy Solutions in this financial year, causing its orderbook to ₹ 57,561 crore.
