Myanmar, Bangkok, China and India landed on Friday (March 28, 2025) from the disastrous earthquake. The intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale is said to be 7.7 and the center was near the city of Myanmar. The earthquake has caused the most devastation in Bangkok. There, skyscrapers collapsed like cards. A mosque has fallen and many people lost their lives.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the center of the earthquake was 16 km north-west near Mandalay and 10 km below the earth. The earthquake has caused thick cracks in the roads of the capital NAPEDO and many high rise buildings have also been damaged. The first earthquake occurred at 12.50 pm (local time).
Many shocks in 12 minutes
According to USGS, the first 7.7 magnitude earthquake was felt and the earthquake again occurred after 12 minutes, which was 6.4. The Myanmar government has declared emergency in Mandale, Nepidao, Bago and Megway. According to BNO News, 25 people have lost their lives due to earthquake, out of which 5 have been in Myanmar and 20 were in Bangkok.
Bangkok has the highest havoc
Most of the earthquake videos on social media are from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, in which big buildings are swinging, trains parked at the metro station are seen moving loudly. People are seen running on the streets to save their lives. Water is falling on the streets from the roof top swimming pool of high rise building and there is a shout everywhere. Many people were injured due to the earthquake, while 43 are missing.
China’s official news agency Xinhua quoted the China Earthquake Network Center as saying that the intensity of the earthquake was 7.9 and the center was 30 km inside the earth. Shocks were felt in the Unanan province of China. Due to this earthquake, the land of the northeastern states of India was also dumped. Earthquake tremors were felt in Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Nagaland, due to which people came out of their houses due to fear. There is no news of any loss of life and property in China and India.
