Ashwin Retirement IND vs AUS: Ravichandran Ashwin is a veteran player of Team India. He has given strong performances on many occasions. Why did Ashwin want Bumrah or Akash Deep in the press conference?
Actually Ashwin was not a part of the playing eleven of Brisbane Test. Therefore, he wanted that Jasprit Bumrah or Akash Deep should have been with Rohit in his place in the press conference. Akash Deep and Bumrah bowled brilliantly against Australia at The Gabba. Bumrah took 6 wickets in the first innings and 3 wickets in the second innings. Whereas Akash took 1 wicket in the first innings and 2 wickets in the second innings.

Ashwin’s international career has been brilliant. He has taken 537 wickets in Tests. Whereas he has taken 156 wickets in ODIs. He has also done strong batting. Ashwin has shown amazing performance many times in domestic cricket also. He has taken 779 wickets in 162 first class matches. Along with this, 5415 runs have also been scored in this format. Ashwin has scored 8 centuries and 25 half-centuries in domestic.
