External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that India and Pakistan were never on the verge of nuclear war during the recent military struggle. In an interview to the German newspaper Frankfurtor Allgemin Jitung, he also dismissed the claims of US President Donald Trump over the ceasefire.
He said- Pakistani names and places are filled in the Terrorist List of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), and we targeted these places. Terrorism is an open business in Pakistan, which the government and army there support, fund, organize and use it.
The terrorist bases that India attacked included the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed located in Bahawalpur, Pakistani Punjab and the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba located in Muridke.
UNSC list filled with Pakistani terrorists
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that through Operation Sindoor, India gave a clear message to the terrorists that they will have to pay the price for the attacks in Kashmir in April.
Jaishankar said that anyone who is not blind can see that Pakistan’s terrorism supports.
When asked if China played a role in this struggle, Jaishankar said- many weapons present with Pakistan are made in China and both countries are very close.
On May 12, the debris of the Indian military officer was shown the debris of the Indian military officer during a press conference on ‘Operation Sindoor’ in New Delhi. The debris was of the developed PL-15E missile in China.
Jaishankar said- Ceasefire credit to Indian Army
Jaishankar was asked whether the world should thank America for the May 10 ceasefire, then Jaishankar gave a credit to India’s army.
He said- direct contact between the military commanders of both sides was agreed when the firing stopped. A day before that, we targeted several airports and air defense systems in Pakistan.
Jaishankar said-
Who should I thank for the shutdown of war? I thank the Indian Army, because their action forced Pakistan to say that they are ready to stop. ”
India retaliated after the Pahalgam attack
India had air strikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) under Operation Sindoor on 7 May after the April 22 attack.
