Donald Trump on Nobel Peace Prize: US President Donald Trump has once again demanded the Nobel Peace Prize for himself. During a conversation with the media in New Jersey, he said that he should have received the Nobel Peace Prize to play an important role in reducing tension between India and Pakistan.
He said, “I should get peace prizes, especially in the case of India and Pakistan. It was a big and difficult task.” Trump also targeted the Nobel Committee and said that this award is often received by those who are associated with Liberal i.e. liberal ideology.
Trump’s big claim on India-Pakistan ceasefire
Donald Trump made a big claim while talking to the media. He said that in May 2025, when the tension between India and Pakistan was at its peak, he personally intervened and helped to get ceasefire. He claimed that he contacted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir and prepared both sides for talks.
India rejected Trump’s claims
However, the Government of India clearly rejected these claims. India says that this ceasefire was the result of the direct dialogue between the military officers of both countries and there was no third party role in it.
Pakistan demands to give Nobel Prize to Trump
Pakistan has also proposed Trump’s name for the Nobel Peace Prize. The Pakistani government says that at the time of tension between India and Pakistan, Trump showed significant diplomatic intervention and strong leadership, due to which he has been nominated. However, Trump himself believes that no matter how big he has done, he will never get this award.
