Paytm users will now be able to check the total balance of all their bank accounts by putting UPI PIN only once. For this, Digital Payment Company Paytm has introduced a new feature ‘Total Balance View’ in its app. The total amount of all the accounts linked to UPI from this new tool will be seen on the same screen.
This feature is especially useful for those who have more than one bank account and they go to different apps and check the balance. With this feature, users will no longer need to add the remainder of different bank accounts.
The purpose of this new tool is to make money management easier by eliminating the need to check the balance of different accounts separately. That is, you will be able to do tasks like financial planning, budget, control and saving work easily.
How to use Total Balance View feature
- Open the Paytm app and click on the ‘Balance and History’ section.
- If you have not already linked UPI to bank accounts, then link them.
- Tap on each linked account and enter UPI PIN to check the balance.
- The app will automatically show the total amount of all linked accounts on the screen.
Paytm started in 2009
Paytm Payment App was launched by Paytm’s parent company One 97 Communications in August 2009. Its founder is Vijay Shekhar Sharma. At present, Paytm has more than 30 million users in the country. The market cap of Paytm is about 28 thousand crores.
