A case of rape of a girl from Maharashtra who had come to visit Jaipur has come to light. The friend staying in the hotel raped her by emotionally blackmailing her with the promise of marriage. On the pretext of getting married, he kept on exploiting people for the last four years. The victim filed a report against the accused friend in Sadar police station.

Police said- A 30 year old girl from Maharashtra has lodged a report. Told in the complaint – In the year 2020, he had met Suraj, a resident of Maharashtra. During the conversation they shared each other’s mobile numbers. Both of them became good friends while chatting on mobile. While visiting Rajasthan with sister and brother in December 2020, the accused friend Suraj insisted on accompanying them.
Stayed in a hotel when I visited Jaipur in December 2020. Suraj’s health deteriorated during his stay in the hotel. When she went into the room to inquire about her health, she was emotionally blackmailed and raped with the promise of marriage. After which, on the pretext of getting married, he continued to exploit the girl for the last four years. When pressurized to marry, the accused refused. After realizing the deception, the victim registered a case against the accused.
