After the Pahalgam attack, the Government of India blocked 16 Pakistani YouTube channels on 27 April for spreading inflammatory content.
Social media accounts of Pakistani celebs and news channels have become active in India. Pakistani cricketers Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afidi, Basit Ali, Rashid Latif’s YouTube channels including Ary Digital, Hum TV and every moment Jio accounts have been seen again.
The Government of India banned them during Operation Sindoor. The official information has not been given by the government to remove the ban. It is not known how these accounts have become active.

16 Pakistani YouTube channels were blocked
The central government blocked several accounts after the Pahalgam terror attack. On 27 April, the Central Government blocked 16 Pakistani YouTube channels against the Indian Army and security agencies on charges of inflammatory content, false statements and misinformation, which have about 63.08 million subscribers in total.

Actress Hania Aamir’s Instagram account appeared in the film Sardar G3 alongside Diljit Dosanjh is a restruct in India. On opening the account, you will get written, the account is not present in India. These content is being restrained due to legal requests.
Apart from Hania, accounts of Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar and Atif Aslam are also not available.
Terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir
26 people were killed in a terrorist attack targeting tourists on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The victims were shot in a famous Basaron Valley in the area. The attack was one of the most deadly attacks in the region since the 2019 Pulwama attack.

After the Uri attack in 2016, all Pakistani artists were banned for working in India. This was the reason that artists like Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan had to leave many films in India. In 2023, the Bombay High Court dismissed the petition to ban Pakistani artists, saying that artists cannot be punished due to political tension.
