Rishabh Pant, who was purchased at a huge price of Rs 27 crore in the mega auction, scored just 269 runs in IPL 2025. He scored 118 runs from 61 balls in the last match of the team’s season, but despite this his team lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Zaheer Khan told reporters after the match, “He performed really well as captain. It was a positive aspect for us throughout the session. His performance with the bat was definitely a learning experience for him, as such a session was very important for him. But no one doubted his ability and ability.”
Zaheer Khan said that it was nice to see this aggressive wicketkeeper batsman performing brilliantly and ending the session. Zaheer said, “We are happy that he finished the session with very good performance. His ability is like this and they can have great impact on the game.”
