Serious problems caused by unhealthy diet
AIIMS diet expert Dr. Parmeet Kaur told (through Financial Express) that Indian people are eating more food items that they should not eat because it increases the risk of serious diseases. 56 percent of diseases in India are associated with unhealthy diet and obesity is not only a growing burden in India but also globally.

Diet deficiencies
Doctors emphasized that the food items like pulses, fruits and vegetables in Indians have gradually reduced food. Give the body such food which is very beneficial for overall health. Contributes to nutrient deficiency. Research of National Nutrition Monitoring Bureau (NNMB) shows that daily consumption of pulses and beans has come down by 50 percent. Consumption of green leafy vegetables and other vegetables is decreasing day by day.
