
The Indian Air Force will participate in the 12-day huge exercise ‘INIOCHOS-25’, which starts in Greece from Monday. Its purpose is to prepare to face modern air war challenges.
This exercise will be held from 31 March to 11 April at Andravida Waysaniya base in Greece. The Indian Air Force will include its state-of-the-art Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter aircraft as well as fighter capacity IL-78 and C-17 globalmaster aircraft. The main objective of this exercise is to increase the capabilities of the Indian Air Force and prepare for joint campaigns in collaboration with the friendly countries.
Number of countries participating in exercises
Air Forces of a total of 15 countries will participate in INIOCHOS-25 exercise. This practice provides an opportunity, where air forces of different countries can enhance their skills and strengthen military relations. Along with this, this training program will also exchange strategic knowledge between the Air Force.
Practice of realistic war scenarios
Indian Air Force said that air and surface assets will be integrated under realistic war scenarios in this exercise. It aims to simulate the challenges of modern air war time, so that the readiness and solidarity of the Air Force of all partner countries can be increased.
