Badal Babu, a young man from Aligarh, crossed the border to Pakistan without a visa to meet his girlfriend. From there he made a video call to his mother and said – the purpose for which I had left the house has been accomplished.

Badal had befriended a girl from Pakistan on social media. When love blossomed, he reached Pakistan without informing his family. There he was arrested by the police of Punjab province of Pakistan for illegally crossing the border. Now Badal is lodged in a jail in Pakistan.
Badal used to work as a tailor while living in Delhi. His family members did not know that he was in Pakistan. Parents said, we came to know from social media that the son is lodged in a jail in Pakistan. We could not believe this. We thought he was in Delhi. Felt a shock after receiving this information.
The family members have now appealed to the Government of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene. Talk to Pakistan government for Badal’s release.

Was caught by Pakistani police on 27th December Badal Babu is a resident of Khitkari village of Barla police station area in Aligarh. A few months ago, he started talking to a girl living in Pakistan on Facebook. Gradually the conversation increased and numbers were exchanged between the two. Then the conversation turned to love.
Court sent him to judicial custody for 14 days Badal was arrested on 27 December in Mandi Bahauddin, Pakistan. Badal had crossed the border without any valid document or visa. A case has been registered against him under sections 13 and 14 of the Pakistan Foreigners Act, 1946. The court has sent Badal to judicial custody for 14 days. He will be produced again in the court on January 10, 2025.
These are Badal’s father Kripal and mother Gayatri Devi, who have appealed to PM Narendra Modi to intervene.
The call was made before Diwali Mother Gayatri Devi told, Badal had called before Diwali. He told that he has found the person whom he had left the house in search of. I am calling from my friend’s phone. After this call, the mother felt that her son was in Delhi and had got a job.
The mother said, we want the son to be brought back to India. We don’t know how he will be brought back. We are appealing to the Prime Minister for help. He is a simple boy. He had never done anything like this before.
Father Kripal Singh told that Badal had also got a passport made. It seems to me that he has gone to Pakistan with one of his friends. who is that? I don’t know this.
Badal’s mother Gayatri Devi said that Modi sir, please send my son to India.
Investigation going on in Pakistan After the arrest of Badal Babu, he told the Pakistani police that he had come to Pakistan in love with the girl. But, the police is considering this case as suspicious and investigating. The Pakistani police is investigating whether this young man has actually come here because of some girl or is there some other reason behind his coming to Pakistan?
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Amrit Jain said, the family has given a memorandum regarding the matter. Will send this matter to the Ministry of External Affairs. Will also try to contact Badal. It is our priority to get Badal released from Pakistan’s custody.
