It has also been told in the report that 34 percent of people raised in Christianity will give up their religion till the age of 30. Out of these, 3 percent will adopt non-Christian religion and 31 percent will not belong to any religion. On the other hand, 21 percent of the people who were religiously unrelated will adopt Christianity by the age of 30. In this way, by 2050, the Christian population will continue to decrease in every decade and by 2060 it will come below 50 percent.

The Christian population will fall by 46 percent, which will no longer make them majority but they will remain the most common religious identity. Non-Christian will reach 41 percent. Other religious groups will maintain 13 percent stake. The report estimated that religious switching and transmission of religion will continue at current rates. It also takes care of migration, religious difference in fertility rate, and mortality between religious groups.
