Arjun Award 2024 Full List: 32 players from India will receive Arjun Award. It has been announced. Along with this, 4 players will also receive the Khel Ratna Award. All these athletes will get prize money along with awards. Five players from the Indian hockey team have been selected for the Arjuna Award. Whereas four players of Para Badminton are included in this list.
World chess champion D Gukesh, hockey player Harmanpreet Singh, para athlete Praveen Kumar and shooter Manu Bhakar will receive the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. While Jyoti Yaraji, Annu Rani and Neetu will receive the Arjuna Award. Five hockey players are included in the list. Vantika Agarwar from Chase has been selected for the Arjuna Award.
How much prize money will the players who win the Arjun Award get?
Indian athletes had performed brilliantly in the Paris Olympics. The Indian hockey team had won the bronze medal. Spain was defeated 2-1 in the bronze match. Manu Bhakar had won two medals in shooting. Manu had won two bronzes. Sarabjot Singh had won bronze in the 10 meter air pistol event. Spinil Kusale also won a medal in shooting. All 32 players will be given Rs 15 lakh as prize money. Earlier, Rs 5 lakh was given for Arjun Award. But it was extended in 2020.
These players will get Arjun Award –
The names of athletes Jyoti Yaraji and Annu Rani are included in the list of Arjun Award. Boxers Neetu and Sweety will also get this title. Indian chess player Vantika Agarwal will also be honoured. Five players have been selected from hockey. Salima Tete, Abhishek, Sanjay, Jarmanpreet Singh and Sukhjeet Singh will receive the Arjun Award. Para archer Rakesh Kumar and para athletes Preeti Pal, Jeevanji Deepti, Ajit Singh, Sachin Khilari, Dharambir and Pranav Surma will also get this title. The names of Navdeep, Simran and H Hokato Sema are also included in the list.
