Bangladesh News: The situation has not become normal even after 7 months of the coup in Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, the banned Islamic group Hizb Uthar-Tahrir took out a rally in Dhaka after the prayers of Jumme (Friday). His rally is named March for Khilafat. He has taken out this rally against the orders of the Bangladeshi administration, due to which the police and Hizb near the mosque were clashed with the people.
Clash between protesters and police
The rally started from the northern gate of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital city, in which thousands of people attended. According to the report of Dhaka Tribune, when the police intervened to stop the March, a clash started. The procession initially proceeded without any hindrance, but when the protesters moved from Paltan towards Bijoynagar, tension increased, where the police blocked the blockade. The members of Hijb Uki-Tehir opposed this, after which there were clashes on both sides.
Police fired tear gas shells
The security forces fired tear gas shells and grenades to disperse the crowd, which made the protesters around for some time, although later they gathered again and started the march again. As the tension increased, the security forces again used tear gas, after which the protesters also became furious and they also started throwing brick and stones at the officials. In this case, the police have arrested many members of Hizb up to high.
This march was carried out by Hizb Utharir in protest against increasing violence against minorities in Bangladesh, recent attacks on cultural, religious and diplomatic properties. The report released by the United Nations in January 2025 revealed that members of Hindu, Ahmedia Muslim and Swadeshi communities in Bangladesh faced human rights violations during anti -discrimination demonstrations.

Things are not improving in Bangladesh
It was told in the UN report that this is the reason why Sheikh Hasina’s government fell in August 2024 and since then the situation there has remained the same. It said that even though the authorities had allegedly made 100 arrests in connection with the attacks, many criminals of revenge and targeted attacks are still fearless. The Ministry of Home Affairs had said that the Modi government is committed to protecting India by strictly dealing with terrorist forces.
