According to a news X report, a mob attacked the ancestral house of Nobel Prize Vijet Rabindranath Tagore in Sirajganj district of Bangladesh. During this time his house was vandalized. Now a three -member committee has been formed to investigate this case.
According to the report, a person came to visit Rabindranath Tagore Museum in Kachhibari in Sirajganj on 8 June. The person got into an argument with the people working there for parking fees. He went to park his bike. It is being claimed that the person was assaulted and locked in the room. After the information of this case, the local people got angry and they reached to protest. The angry mob first attacked the auditorium and after that also vandalized other places.
Significantly, the Kachhirabari has been the ancestral residence of the Tagore family. This mansion has been very special for Rabindranath Tagore, because he sat here and wrote many world famous works. Now his own house was attacked. According to the information, after the incident, the Archaeological Department has formed a committee to investigate the attack. At present, people will not be able to go here. For some time, the entry of outsiders has been banned.
