Bangladesh political instability: Things in Bangladesh are deteriorating day by day. The Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus took over the leadership of the interim government after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stepped down from the post. He promised to improve the country and bring it on the path of stability. However, atrocities against minorities, especially Hindus, have not declined under his leadership. Now, the demand for his resignation is arising from within the country. This demand has been raised by a senior leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), who is questioning the fairness of the interim government. On one hand, Mohammad Yunus was trying to mess with India. Today, the situation is that the leaders there are not happy with their policies.
BNP general secretary Fakhrul Islam has directly questioned the fairness of the interim government headed by Mohammad Yunus. He says that the government is expected to work in a fair and take the country in the right direction. He alleged that the government has failed to maintain fairness on some important issues, which has increased instability in the country. Fakhrul Islam said in gestures that if the interim government cannot remain fair then a neutral government will be needed at the time of elections.
Demand for election in Bangladesh
The BNP general secretary demanded the interim government led by Mohammad Yunus to complete the reform process at the earliest and hold elections in Bangladesh. He said that only the government formed with the help of elections can fulfill the promises made to the people of the country and can lead the country to stability. He also said that due to delay in election, other forces can take advantage of this situation, which can worsen the situation.
Fakhrul Islam raised questions
Fakhrul Islam raised the question whether it would be right to wait for 4-5 years until the reform process is completed? He says that if the election is delayed, the public can once again be deprived of their right to vote for a long time. Please tell that since the removal of Sheikh Hasina from power, there has been an atmosphere of instability in Bangladesh. Incidents of atrocities on minorities and violence against women have increased. Their property is being looted and they are feeling insecure. Meanwhile, Pakistan is also trying to strengthen its position in Bangladesh, which has increased tension in the country.
Fair election is the only solution
Amidst the current political crisis and instability in Bangladesh, fair elections seem to be the only solution that can lead the country to stability and development. Political parties will have to work united and ensure that elections are held on time and fairly. With this, the people of Bangladesh will be able to get their democratic rights back and the country can be taken towards a stable future.
