
Tamim Iqbal Health Update: Former Bangladesh cricket team captain Tamim Iqbal has been discharged from Evercare Hospital. He recently suffered a heart attack during a cricket match. Actually, a match of Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League was being played, in which Iqbal Mohammadan was captaining the Sporting Club team. He was immediately rushed to the hospital after a heart attack, where he had to undergo stent placement surgery. Explain that this surgery is done to improve blood flow in the heart.
Dr. Shahabuddin Talukdar told the press on Friday, “We have decided to discharge him today after seeing the improved condition of Tamim Iqbal. However, he will have to follow the rehabilitation process to be fully healthy and at the same time he will have to bring some changes in his routine.”
Cricket will not play for three months
Abu Zafar, an officer in the Ministry of Health in the Bangladesh government, clarified a few days ago that Tamim Iqbal would have to keep a distance from the cricket ground for at least three months. Zafar said that if everything goes well in three months, Tamim Iqbal will be able to play cricket again. He also emphasized that Iqbal will have to stay away from smoking at all costs, which is one of the main reasons for heart coming.
Tamim Iqbal has retired
Tamim Iqbal represented the Bangladesh cricket team in 391 matches in his international career. He has scored 15,249 runs in this historic career. He has 25 centuries and 94 half -centuries in international cricket. Tamim Iqbal gave information through a Facebook post in January 2025 and told that he is saying goodbye to international cricket.
