Saraswati Puja is celebrating on the occasion of Hindu Basant Panchami all over the world. According to the report of Dhaka Tribune, Yunus has called on all Hindus to contribute to the progress of the country.
In his message, Younus described Bangladesh as a secular country, where people of all religions live together. He said, “This country belongs to all of us and people of all religions and castes are safe here.” He also said that on August 5, the interim government formed through the rebellion of students, workers and general public is continuously working to ensure equal rights of all citizens of the country.

Saying the glory of Goddess Saraswati, Yunus described her as a symbol of truth, justice and knowledge. He said, “Goddess Saraswati is the almighty goddess of knowledge, speech and melody.” Yunus appealed to all the Hindu community to become a worshiper of knowledge and contribute to the development and progress of the country.
Comment on violence against minorities
This congratulations of Yunus have come at a time when Bangladesh is being accused of violence against minorities. There have been reports of incidents on the Hindu community since the fall of Sheikh Hasina, although the Yunus government has dismissed these allegations.
