The final match of IPL 2025 was played on 3 June, in which RCB won its first trophy by defeating Punjab Kings. The team reached Bangalore with a trophy around 1 pm the next day. The players were about to travel in the open bus, but then the news came that the police did not allow it due to the huge crowd. Still, where the team passed from where the team passed, a large number of people were seen standing there. Anushka Sharma also shared many videos of it on her Instagram. Virat Kohli was sitting ahead in the bus holding the trophy.
Around 5 pm, the RCB team reached M Chinnaswamy Stadium, where the victory was being celebrated. A large number of people also arrived here, which were not enough arrangements to control. The organizers had to conduct better
BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said in a conversation with PTI, “This is very unfortunate. It is a negative aspect of popularity. People are crazy for their cricketers. The organizers should have organized it better. I have a deep condolences to the families of those killed in this accident. I wish for the early health of the injured. And security measures should be taken somewhere.
