
Before ct 2025 Pakistan gov to deploy army trops: There is less than half a month left for the Champions Trophy starting 2025. The first match of this tournament is to be played between Pakistan and New Zealand on 19 February. Pakistan Cricket Board and Pakistan government are busy preparing for it. Now the news is coming that before the Champions Trophy, the Government of Pakistan is deploying army troops on the streets there.
Why was the army deployed?
Tri-series is to be played in Pakistan before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. For which the Pakistani Army has been deployed to strengthen the security system. The series will start from 8 February, in which teams from New Zealand and South Africa will field against Pakistan.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken tough steps for the safe event of matches. Pakistani Army Rangers have been given the responsibility of security for the matches in Lahore and Karachi. The deployment of the army has started by implementing Article 245 in Lahore from 5 February. In a circular sent by the Provincial Government, The Nation was quoted by Pakistan, “Army Troops in Lahore have been deployed under Article 245.”
