Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said India is often advised to address the issues of its minorities, but now we are seeing what situation minority communities are facing in other countries. .
On the occasion of the inauguration of ‘Hindu Seva Mahotsav’ here, he also said that efforts are being made to establish hegemony by talking about world peace. He said, “Big things are being talked about world peace. We (India) are also being advised about world peace, but at the same time, wars are also not stopping. We are often asked to worry about minorities in our own country while we are seeing what kind of situation minorities are facing outside.”
The RSS chief made no mention of violence against the Hindu community in neighboring Bangladesh, although the RSS has expressed concern about the situation of Hindus in Bangladesh in recent weeks following the ouster of Sheikh Hasina from power. Bhagwat said, “Human religion is the eternal religion of all religions, which is the world religion. It is also called Hinduism. However, the world has forgotten this religion. “They have the same religion but they forgot, and because of that, today we are seeing different types of problems, including environmental problems.”
He said that many people outside our country think that world peace is not possible without India playing a role. The RSS chief said, “They believe that it is only India and its rich tradition that can do this and has been doing so for 3,000 years. It is our responsibility to fulfill this need of the world.”
