Jharkhand State Housing Board has accused former Indian Cricket Team captain MS Dhoni of using the residential land of his Harmu Road house for commercial purposes. The board said that non-residential use of residential land is against its rules. The residential lands allotted by the Board can be used only for residential purposes.
What did the Chairman of the Housing Board say?
Jharkhand State Housing Board According to President Sanjay Lal Paswan, using this land for anything else is prohibited. He said-
Commercial use of residential land is prohibited under Jharkhand State Housing Board rules. If this is found to be happening then the allotment of the property can also be cancelled. Let us tell you that BJP’s Jharkhand government had given a 10 thousand square feet plot to Dhoni on Harmu Road as a mark of respect for his outstanding contribution and brilliant achievements in cricket. Then Arjun Munda was the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Dhoni earlier lived in this house on Harmu Road, but now he lives in his farmhouse on Ring Road in Simlia.
Claim to build a diagnostic center
It is being claimed in media reports that A plan is being made to build a diagnostic center at Dhoni’s house in Harmu. There has been an uproar after this news came out. In view of this, the Board has set up an inquiry to find out the basic intention behind the allotment of the plot and to find out whether it is being used as per the rules or not. According to the board, if it is found that residential land is being used for commercial use, then strict action will be taken.
