Quick Commerce Service started ambulance service on 2 January. On this, Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said on Friday that for Blinkit’s ambulance service, the Quick Commerce company will have to follow the laws of the country. Apart from this, other legal requirements should also be taken care of properly.
Blinkit Founder and CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced through a post that the company’s 5 ambulances started service in Gurugram on Thursday. The company is claiming to reach the patient in about 10 minutes.
Ambulance is equipped with necessary emergency equipment: Dhindsa According to Dhindsa, Blinkit ambulances are equipped with necessary life saving equipment. This includes oxygen cylinder, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), stretcher, monitor, suction machine and essential medicines and injections used in emergency. Each ambulance will have a paramedic, an assistant and a driver.
The founder of Blinkit said – Making profit here is not our target. We will provide service at affordable prices. Blinkit aims to expand to all major cities in the next 2 years.
