Former cricketer Kedar Jadhav took membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule at an event held in Mumbai on Mangalawar (8 April). On the stage, Maharashtra BJP Chief welcomed Kedar Jadhav to the party by wearing BJP’s patka. Apart from the Indian team, Kedar Jadhav also contributed to the IPL tournament for a long time.
Kedar Jadhav decided to retire from all formats of cricket in June last year, and he made this important announcement through social media, making his fans and fellow players aware of the news. Jadhav, 39, played his last ODI for India on February 8, 2020 against New Zealand. During this series, Jadhav was included in the playing XI only in two matches, and he scored a total of 35 runs in the four -match ODI series.
Career started in international cricket in 2014
Earlier in 2014, Kedar Jadhav made his debut in international cricket. On 16 November 2014 played his first ODI against Sri Lanka in Ranchi. After this debut, Jadhav scored 1389 runs in 73 ODIs at an average of 42.09, including two centuries and six half -centuries. Also, he also took 27 wickets. Talking about his international T20, he scored 58 runs in nine matches at a strike rate of 123.23.
Apart from the Indian team, Kedar Jadhav also performed brilliantly in the IPL. He played for a long time for Chennai Super Kings and played several important matches for the team under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In addition, he also represented Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the IPL, Jadhav scored 1196 runs in 95 matches at a strike rate of 123.17, including four half -century innings.
