Team India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was hurt in the last Test match against Australia, due to which he had to go for scans from the middle match. Jasprit Bumrah was expected to play in the last match of the ODI series against England, but now the BCCI also ended that expectation of Indian fans.
Who was chosen in the squad in place of Bumrah?
The first match of the ODI series against England is to be played in Nagpur on 6 February. Earlier, the BCCI issued the information and removed the name of Bumrah from the squad and included the name of Varun Chakraborty.

Varun Chakraborty recently showed the five wicket hall in the Rajkot T20 match against England in the 5 -match T20 series and took a total of 14 wickets in the series. He was also awarded the Player of the Series Award for Chakraborty’s superb bowling. Varun has joined the ODI team in Nagpur.
