Manhattan’s Federal Court of International Trade declared Trump’s move illegal. A three -judge bench said that Trump misuses the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). This law gives some special powers to the President during the Emergency, but the court admitted that Trump used it without a solid base.
