

Dalai Lama will launch new book ‘Voice for the Voiceless’ on March 11.
Tibet’s spiritual leader Dalai Lama’s new book ‘Voice for the Voiceless’ will reveal the entire story of his struggle with China for the first time. This book will be published in America and Britain on March 11. In this, the Dalai Lama met Mao at the age of 19.

Dalai Lama, now approaching 90 years, has also mentioned in this book his efforts to save the culture, religion and language of Tibet. He told that at the age of 16, he witnessed the invasion of China and took over the full leadership of Tibet on 17 November 1950. In 2011 he left the post of political leader.
The Dalai Lama revealed that formal negotiations with the Chinese government ceased in 2010, but informal and confidential contacts with Chinese leaders continued as of 2019. This book is coming at a time when China is showcasing its military and economic power globally. The Dalai Lama says that this book will serve as a guide for those carrying forward the Tibetan cause after him.
