Shares of defense companies like Paras Defense, Garden Reach Shipbuilders (GRSE), HAL, India Dynamics (BDL) are up by 12% on Monday. Experts believe that the government may take strict steps against Pakistan.
This is expected to increase the purchase of defense equipment such as missiles, drones and naval equipment. Due to this, purchases are being done in defense stocks. With this, today there will be a deal of 26 Rafale Marine aircraft between India France.
Paras Defense and GRSE shares climbed more than 10%
Defense stocks saw the highest growth in paras defense. After this, HAL shares have climbed 5.59% and BDL shares up to 6.69%.
Cochin Shipyard’s stock rose by 7.21% after the Indian Navy’s anti-Ship missile test was successful. At the same time, Majgaon Dock increased by 6.55% and Garden Reach Ship Builders GRSE increased to 10%.
Today 26 Rafael Marine Aircraft Deal with France
Along with this, the deal of 26 Rafale Marine aircraft was signed between India France today. The deal will be signed between the defense ministers of the two countries. Under the deal, India will buy 22 single seater aircraft and 4 double seater aircraft from France.
These aircraft will be equipped with the ability to bomb atomic bombs. According to reports, this deal with France is being done for around Rs 63,000 crore. This is India’s biggest deal with France in terms of weapons procurement.
The purchase of aircraft was approved in the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 23 April. The meeting was called after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
Meeting between PM Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath took place
An important meeting was held on Monday between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath. In this meeting that lasted for 40 minutes, Rajnath gave detailed information to the Prime Minister on Pahalgam attack. There will be a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee of Defense Affairs from 3 pm. In which important decisions can be taken against Pakistan.
26 tourists died in Pahalgam terror attack
