A diary has also been seized, in which the account of betting was being written and an LED TV has also been found. On the evening of 8 April, a person had informed the police about betting, keeping his name secret. The police got this information about an hour before the Chennai-Punjab match started on 8 April. This person said that betting gang is being run through mobile phones and other electronic equipment. This information came true and the police raided the time of about 10:40 the same night.
