Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday announced an allocation of more than Rs 900 crore to provide basic facilities in slums.
Rekha accused the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of creating ‘Sheeshamahal’ and ignoring the needs of the slums.
Rekha Gupta also took a sarcasm at the opposition ‘AAP’ MLAs and said in a funny manner that ‘Sheeshmahal’ will be included in the tourism list of Delhi.
The BJP has already announced that the Chief Minister of the party will not remain in this bungalow and it will be used in any other public work.
The Delhi government has allocated Rs 10,047 crore for the social security sector, out of which Rs 9,780 crore has been set for schemes and projects under Social Welfare, Women and Child Development and Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBC Welfare Departments. This step has been taken as part of an effort to ensure social security for all sections of the society.
