India vs australia semifinal: In the first semi -finals of the Champions Trophy 2025, India defeated Australia by 4 wickets to secure their place in the final. Rohit Sharma & Company is still undefeated in this tournament. In the match against Australia in Dubai, Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings of 84 runs and played a key role in winning Team India. King Kohli is being praised worldwide, but former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is not happy with him.
After the Indo-Australia semi-final match, Shoaib Akhtar, popularly known as ‘Rawalpindi Express’, shared a video on social media. In it, he increased the victory to Team India, but also said that Virat Kohli was dismissed after playing dirty shots. He should have scored a century.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Shoaib Akhtar said that Virat Kohli missed Milestone. They should understand that these records are to be made, if you have to score 100 centuries, do not make such a mistake.
Shoaib Akhtar did not stop here and he said that Virat Kohli hit a dirty shot. I wanted him to have a century, because it was important for him. Every century will take them towards its goal. I think he played the wrong shot. 100 are made very hard and such an opportunity should not be left.
Shoaib has created a ruckus on Akhtar’s statement because even though his focus was on Virat Kohli’s century, the star batsman was playing only to win the team. When Virat was asked about this after the match, he clearly said that I never think of Milestone and when you think of winning the team, you are able to score a century. Kohli further said that I play for my country and feel proud of it. If I have reached a century then it is good, but thinking is always to win the team. I did not hit a century today, but my team won, I am happy. I have done this throughout my career.
Team India has brilliantly entered the final after trampling Australia in the semi -finals of the Champions Trophy 2025.
