After the recent decision of the Donald Trump administration to remove tariffs from several electronic goods, now the big statement of US Commerce Minister Howard Lutnik has come out. Speaking to ABC News on Sunday (April 13, 2025), Howard Lutnik said that the decision to exempt electronic items from tariff is not forever. He clearly said that ‘semiconductor tariff’ will be imposed on all these items soon. He said that this rule will apply within a month or two. & nbsp;
In the ‘This Week’ program of ABC News, Lutynik said that all those goods are coming under the semiconductor. A special type of tariff will be imposed on all these and we will ensure that those products are re -installed. We need semiconductor, we need chips and at the same time we also need flat panels. He further said that we will have to make all these products in America only because we cannot depend on South Asia for all these things.
