India vs Australia: India got off to a strong start on the second day of the Brisbane Test. Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah showed both the Australian openers the way to the pavilion. After this, all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy trapped the dangerous looking Marnus Labuschagne, but what Mohammed Siraj did before this wicket attracted the attention of fans all over the world.
In the third Test being played at the Gabba ground in Brisbane, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. Rain disrupted play on the first day and only 13.2 overs could be played. India did not get a single success on the first day, but on the second day, Indian fast bowlers bowled with good line length and got the result.
An interesting incident happened on the Gabba ground on the second day of the Brisbane Test. Mohammad Siraj, who often shows aggressive behavior to the batsmen, did a unique job this time. While bowling, he reached Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne. The Kangaroo batsman felt that Siraj would say something to him but it did not happen. Siraj changed the bails placed on the stumps. His ‘trick’ also worked and in the next over, Marnus Labuschagne got out and returned to the pavilion.
Labuschagne looked a little upset when Siraj changed the bails, but he immediately put the bails back in the same place where they were before. However, Siraj’s trick paid off and Marnus Labuschagne was out after scoring 12 runs on the ball of Nitish Reddy. Virat Kohli, who was fielding at second slip, took a tremendous catch.
On the first day of the Brisbane Test, Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling did not show the edge for which he is known, but he made a strong comeback on the second day. Bumrah made both Australian openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney his victims.
