Farmers were waiting for winter for a long time, but the temperature outside was 30 degrees. Now in the last 4 days the day temperature has dropped from 30.6 degrees to 25.6 degrees. A decrease of 5 degrees in temperature has been recorded in 4 days. The Meteorological Department has warned of severe cold wave in the next few days.
In such a situation, the minimum temperature will reach single digits. In the market too, crowd is visible at the woolen clothes shops from morning till evening. Women, youth, children and elderly are also purchasing woolen clothes. This time winter has knocked late. Till now the weather was normal. Due to the sudden entry of winter, the number of patients in the district hospital has also increased.
Winter became a boon for Rabi crops
Rabi sowing started in November, but winter has arrived in December. Due to the winter that came late by about a month, the farmers who have sown Rabi crops are looking quite happy. Farmers were waiting for winter to arrive for a long time. Due to absence of winter, there was a lot of difficulty in germination of cumin, isabgol, raida and other crops. This time, farmers were most worried about the cumin crop. Due to lack of winter, cumin seeds did not germinate for 20 days. Now the cumin crop will benefit from winter.

With the entry of cold wave, the temperature is likely to drop further in the next few days. Due to this, the cold wave will intensify with the minimum temperature reaching single digits. After December 16, the minimum mercury can reach 6-7 degrees. Children and elderly people are advised to take protection in winter.
