Due to sharp tremors, the wheel bed started rolling around the whole room. A nurse, who was sitting on the floor and carrying a child on her lap, grabbed a cradle moving with a shock so that it would not fall. At the same time, the second nurse standing nearby took immediate steps to handle the two ups of two, so that there is no harm to the children.

As the earthquake intensified, the water filter started moving loudly, causing the water to spread on the floor. Despite slipping on the wet floor, nurses kept trying to keep newborns safe. The first nurse, who was dragging the floor due to shaking, was holding the child firmly and was trying to stop the beans with the other hand, so that the children would not suffer any harm.

The earthquake occurred at 12:50 pm (local time) in the north-west of Myanmar’s Sagiing. Due to this many buildings fell, roads broke and thousands of people got caught in the rubble. Its impact was also seen in the neighboring country Thailand. Emergency teams there are trying to save people trapped in the building falling in Bangkok.
India has responded rapidly to this disaster. The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured Myanmar to provide all possible help. India has sent relief material, medical teams and other necessary assistance to the affected areas.
