Elections of Advocate (Bar) Association are proposed to be held in Sawai Madhopur on 13th December. Voting for the posts of President, Vice President, General Secretary and other posts of Advocates Association Sawai Madhopur will be held on December 13 in the Council Auditorium. In view of the voting, these days elections are being held in the court premises.

Neetu Sharma has been elected unopposed for the post of Treasurer, Nemichand Bairwa for the post of Joint Secretary and Mahendra Verma for the post of Library Secretary due to being the only names after the deadline for withdrawal of nomination papers.
Election officer BD Mali said that only the lawyers who fill the ‘One Time One Vote’ affidavit will be able to vote. Only after which the final voter list will be published. However, many lawyers have already submitted affidavits. In the Bar elections, the High Court has ordered that no candidate will post election material, posters, banners in the court premises. We will make arrangements to ensure that publicity material is not scattered and does not come under feet. If such cards are seen being distributed, action will be taken against the concerned candidate. Candidates will be able to show smaller cards and will not be able to distribute the cards too much.

Election Officer Abdul Bahav Qureshi, Additional Election Officer Bhagwandas Mali and Assistant Election Officer Mansingh Rajawat said that Mukesh Kumar Sharma, Rajesh Kumar Meena, Umashankar Sharma are in the fray for the post of District Advocates Association President. Similarly, there will be a contest between Rishiram Meena, Dharmendra Kumar Singhadia, Hanuman Prasad Swarnkar for the post of Vice President and Anuj Bedi, Ajay Bansal for the post of Secretary.
