In the last financial year 2024-25, 2.6 crore vehicles have been sold across the country. It has increased by 6.46% on an annual basis. It had a sale of 1.88 crore trains in the two-wheeler segment alone. It was 7.71% more than last year’s same period.
At the same time, in the first month of the new financial year 2025-26, the sale of vehicles in the country was more than 22 lakhs in the country. It has grown 2.95% compared to April last year. During this period, more than 16 lakh vehicles were sold in the two-wheeler category, which is 2.25% more than April 2024. The Federation of Automobile Association (FADA) has released sales reports of vehicles sold in Financial Year 2025 and April 2025.
In April, Hero sold 5.11 lakh two -wheelers the most. The company topped the 30% stake by selling the most vehicles in this category. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki topped the passenger vehicle segment by selling 1,38,021 cars with 39.44% stake.


Commercial vehicle sales decreased by 0.17%
FY 2024-25 saw a decrease of 0.17% in the sale of commercial vehicle segment vehicles. During this period, 10,08,623 commercial vehicles were sold across the country, while the last 10,10,324 vehicles were sold.

Two-wheeler retail sales increased by 7.71%
Two-wheeler retail sales have jumped 7.71% in the year 2024-25. During this period, 1.88 crore two-wheelers were sold across the country, while 1.76 crore two-wheelers were sold in the last year.
