Sanjay raut: Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Tuesday claimed that Devendra Fadnavis had not gone to live in ‘Varsha’, the official residence of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra in South Mumbai due to superstition.
Raut said that the rumor is that during Eknath Shinde’s Kamakhya Temple visit, the horn of buffaloes allegedly sacrificed in Guwahati was buried in the premises of ‘Varsha’, so that the post of Chief Minister does not have the post of Chief Minister and no one else to anyone else other than Shinde are.
Fadnavis became the Chief Minister in place of Shinde after the November 2024 assembly elections. Rajya Sabha member Raut said, “Why are Devendra Fadnavis not going to live in ‘Varsha’?” The Chief Minister has said that even if he goes there, he will not sleep there. What is this? The Shiv Sena’s ‘Lemon Emperor, Lemon Mirchi’ (indirectly pointing to the black magic) should respond. “
Lemons and chillies are believed to be black magic. Raut told reporters, “I have heard that there was a discussion within the BJP that the horns of buffaloes sacrificed in Guwahati were buried in the lawn Employees say that the post of no one else should be with anyone else. ”
There has been no immediate response from the Chief Minister’s colleagues on Raut’s claims, but Shiv Sena chief and now Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde told reporters in a satirical tone, “Raut is an expert in that region. They should know. ”
In the past, Raut alleged that buffalo was sacrificed in Guwahati when Shinde was staying with other rebel MLAs of Shiv Sena in a hotel in Assam city after revolting against Uddhav Thackeray.
Meanwhile, Raut sought clarification from Fadnavis as to why he is not living in ‘Varsha’, which is ‘the pride of the state’. He said that Maharashtra is a progressive state, where there has been a tradition of social reformers like Mahatma Phule, Prabodhanakar Thackeray and Gadge Maharaj, who attacked superstitions, yet superstition now has influence in the corridors of power.
