Fire started blazing in the sky of America. It felt as if a missile was coming. Someone said that there is a meteorite shower. However, when the truth was faced, China’s angle came to the fore.
Due to the speed of Superview-1 02 satellite, friction was created in the atmosphere and fire broke out. After this it moved towards Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri.
The speed of the Chinese satellite was more than 2700 KM. Its footage is going viral on social media, in which a ball of fire is seen in the sky.
Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, said the Superview-1 02 satellite (GaoJing 1-02 commercial imaging satellite) broke up over New Orleans at night.
People of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri saw this incident and were shocked. The American Meteor Society has seen it more than 120 times.
Many people also captured it in their cameras. One user wrote, I have just seen a meteor falling to earth in Alabama. it was very big.
According to the report of Live Science, the Superview-1 02 satellite was traveling at a speed of 27,400 kilometers per hour. At 11.08 pm on December 21, it suddenly descended and entered our atmosphere over New Orleans.
