The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) has warned people against the fraud in the name of installing mobile towers. The fraudsters are collecting money in exchange for setting up the tower by sending messages to the people.
The news agency PIB Fact Czech has advised to be careful with the people, describing these messages as fake. Dot has said that no such message has been sent by him and the Indian Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI).
