Gaddafi stadium lahore: The second semi -final match of the Champions Trophy (Champions Trophy 2025) will be played between South Africa and New Zealand (SA vs NZ). The match will be played at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday, 5 March. It took PCB more than 100 days to renovate this stadium. Pakistan had claimed that close to 500 crores has been spent in Renovate of the stadium. However, now the board’s pole has been revealed.
It was said to spend around 500 crores Pakistan in renovation of Gaddafi Stadium. Some new buildings were also built from the seating arrangement, flood lights. The PCB took extra time to complete its preparation. It was ready a few days before the Champions Trophy. Now Pakistan’s gritty is happening because the video of water dripping from the bathroom roof in the stadium is going viral.
PCB pole opened by rain
Afghanistan vs Australia match was canceled due to rain on February 28 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The PCB board did not have proper arrangements for drying ground, even during the rains the entire ground was not covered. There was a lot of disrespect of PCB about this. Now another video of the stadium is going viral on social media.
In the viral video, water is seen dripping from the roof of the bathroom built in Gaddafi Stadium. Some philosophy came to watch the video matches. Other spectators there are also seen avoiding the rain.

Champions Trophy’s second semi -finals to be played at Gaddafi Stadium
India, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa have made their place in the semi -finals of the Champions Trophy 2025. The first semi -finals will be played between India and Australia on 4 March in Dubai. The second semi -final will be South Africa vs New Zealand at Gaddafi Stadium on 5 March.
