Adani Group’s Fast-Moving Consumer Group (FMCG) unit Adani Wilmer has changed its name to AWL Agri Business Limited. The company said in a press release on Tuesday (February 25) that the step has been taken only after getting approval from the shareholders.
Rebranding aims to connect the company’s identity with its core business activities and future development possibilities in the Agri-business industry. The company said that this decision is a significant change for the company. This reflects the company’s extended focus on agriculture and food sectors.
AWL Agri Business will introduce new products in FY 26
According to media reports, AWL Agri Business Limited will now speed up its efforts to introduce new products in FY 26. The company will target both affordable and high-level segments under kitchen essentials.
The company’s capital investment strategy will also be accelerated
Apart from this, the company’s capital investment strategy can also be accelerated. Because the ongoing projects of the company, including a value of a value of about Rs 1,300 crore include a food processing facility, which is funded by the company’s 2022 funds in 2022.
The operation of this food processing facility located in Sonepat district of Haryana began last month. The company will produce additional oil and several food items. Earlier, Adani Enterprises canceled his plan to separate his food and FMCG business with Adani Wilmer in October 2024.
Adani Wilmer’s profit doubled in the third quarter
Adani Wilmer’s financial year 2024-25 grew by 104% to Rs 411 crore in the third quarter of Rs 411 crore. The company had a profit of 201 crore in the same quarter of a year ago.
The company’s operational revenue was Rs 15,859 crore in the October-December quarter. It has increased by 23.62% on an annual basis. In the third quarter of FY 2023-24, the company generated a revenue of 12,828 crore.

Adani Wilmer’s revenue increased by 10% against July-September
In the previous quarter i.e. July-September, Adani Wilmer recorded a profit of Rs 311 crore. It has increased 32.15% on a quarterly basis. At the same time, revenue has increased by 9.67%. In July-September, the company generated a revenue of Rs 14,460 crore.
Adani Wilmer’s share fell 27.69% in a year
Adani Wilmer’s stock is trading at a level of Rs 260.80 with a decline of 0.84% today. The company’s stock has fallen 0.15% in the last one month, 31.09% in 6 months and 34.59% in a year. So far the stock has fallen 20.57% in the new year. The market cap of Adani Wilmer is 33.96 thousand crores.
Adani Wilmer was listed in the stock market in February 2022
Adani Wilmer began in 1999 with a 50/50 joint venture between Adani Enterprises and Wilmer International. It is India’s leading crude palm oil processing company. It is the largest company to import Edible Oil in India. Adani Wilmer has 23 plants in 10 states of the country.
The company makes and sells products used in Edible Oil, Food and FMCG and industry. Mustard sells many types of edible oils including sunflowers and soybeans. Adani Wilmer raised Rs 3600 crore through IPO in February 2022.
